Airplane tour of United Airlines’ Transcontinental Business Class. Flight path from SFO to Newark.

We booked a night flight that took off at 11:45pm and arrived at 8am in Newark. Being a night flight we mostly slept. It was so nice to be able to lay flat and actually get comfortable on an airplane. Two pillows- one fluffy and one memory foam, a blanket and an eye mask were all I needed for a good night sleep on a plane!

NOW let’s get into the details!

Amenity Kit: For Transcontinental flights across the US most closely resemble the amenity kit given to Premium Economy on long haul flights. No mini AWAY kit here.

Food: There was a breakfast service, however when you are sleeping so comfortably you end up sleeping through it. Bubblies before take off!

Lounge access: Due to being a domestic flight you only get access to the United Club Lounge not the United Polaris Lounge.

Overall we were very happy with United Business class. I was bummed that the flight did not have the AWAY Amenity kit as I heard they are phasing them out for a new product. We had all the comforts we needed!
